DOG TRAINER / TRAIN AND PLAY ATTENDANT
This position is a full time position, 40 hrs per week,
competitive salary, flexibility, benefits and more.
Mentoring junior staff in dog training methods and techniques.
You train dogs with fun and emotional awareness. Teaching everything from basic manners to advanced manners, also teaching group classes.
REQUIRMENTS -
Certifications from CPDT, IAABC, or PPG recommended
and required within a year of employment.
Minimum 2 years of training group classes, private training
preference to someone who also has experience in a training facility.
TRAIN AND PLAY ATTENDANT / DOG TRAINER apprentice
We are always looking for full time and part time people to help us with our train
and play program. This position prioritizes safety in our program.
Attending to the needs of the dogs in our care during play, crate time, and during training. You will also be assisting the dog trainers during training. You also have the option to assist during our group classes to work towards becoming a full time trainer. You will be mentored every step of the way.
REQUIRMENTS -
Minimum 1 years of attending to dogs during play, dog walking or
assisting training during group classes.
It is highly encouraged to reach for your certifications from CPDT, IAABC, or
PPG is recommended within 2 years of employment to advance to dog trainer.
